About
The Project
Telling Christian Stories
When Lilly Endowment Inc. awarded the Storytelling grant to PAW, it was to help them achieve their goal to:
-
Identify stories that are compelling examples of authentic and vibrant Christian faith and life
-
Produce compelling stories about these examples of Christian faith and life in various media formats
-
Share these stories through different media with a wide variety of people in a broad spectrum of contexts and from many different backgrounds
What We Proposed
For the next five years, we will use our sphere of influence to reach our most vulnerable populations in the United States. We want to especially remind young Black males (ages 12 – 38) and youth that by faith in God they can overcome the challenges they face in life.
How Will We Do It
Through an information campaign with the following focus:
Message & Story Development
Create high-quality story content from our testimonies, showcasing our victories amid struggle
Connection
Equip our partner network of churches, dioceses, and resource providers to offer safe and healthy connection through coordinated in-person experiences, resources, and spiritual care
Content Delivery
Deliver content in the ways our people hear and understand best, including significantly increasing our presence in digital spaces
Inform & Educate
Increase our knowledge and understanding of spiritual concepts, principles, and practices to ground our lives
